Welcome to the Winter edition of our new-look magazine, balance.
In this edition we consider the issue of women in banking and finance and we are delighted to feature three prominent women from various fields – a banking CEO, an Ambassador and a ‘Dragon’, no less.
Jenny Knott, Chief Executive of Standard Bank, tells us her view from the top and says she would like to see more of a cultural shift in the workplace. Our ‘guest opinion’ is Hilary Devey, of Dragons’ Den fame, who talks success and explains what it takes for women to get ahead. And the Danish Ambassador to the UK, Anne Hedensted Steffensen, shares her country’s priorities as it takes up the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
