BBA response to Which? Future of Banking Commission1

In this submission the BBA addressed the issues raised by the Commission and also to relate the progress being made on the regulatory reform programme currently being pursued in response to the global financial crisis.

While many aspects of this are being coordinated at an international and European level, a large part of the programme is UK-specific and our response highlights the need to ensure that any measures suit both the home market and the international business which the UK hosts.
